My Story:
I am often asked.
“Why did I decide to start this business?”
and “What qualifies me to operate this type of business?”
My
background is quite diversified and I think unique.
I am veteran of the Armed Forces. I spent five years in the U.S. Army, three of
which was in Germany. I met my husband in the military and at the
end of our enlistment decided to come back to my hometown in Pennsylvania. I enjoyed the luxury of being a full time mom
for five years with our son. When he
started school, I decided to go to college.
I graduated with honors from Saint Vincent College
with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
I went on to pass the CPA exam and
started building my career. I reached my
career goal and was a Controller
for a manufacturing company with annual revenues of $145Mil when I
decided to
revisit the business idea that I had for some time.
The
original idea for this business came to me when my
husband and I were trying to build our own deck construction and
distributorship company at the same time we were in the process of
moving into
our new home in Greensburg
and the frustrations, worries, and concerns of finding qualified
contractors
keep me up at nights. Numerous
conversations with co-workers and neighbors told me that this service
was
needed. As a start up construction
company we quickly realized that the honest, insured, and caring
contractor
also needs this service. The uninsured
and scam artist undercut and obtain jobs which gives the entire
industry a bad
reputation. I know quality contractors
and want to help them grow their business as well. I developed a
network of
hand selected top rated contractors that are qualified and strongly
believe in
the utmost customer satisfaction. These
are the contractors that I am proud to have in my network.
